Gifted Education Week

October 9-15 has been declared "Gifted Education Week" in Wisconsin by both Governor Jim Doyle and DPI Superintendent Libby Burmaster. Why not "celebrate" by attending one of the following events with Dr. Jan Davidson, co-author of "Genius Denied: How to Stop Wasting Our Brightest Young Minds" and co-founder and president of the Davidson Institute for Talent Development?

October 11, 7:30 p.m., McDaniels Auditorium, MMSD Doyle Administration Building, 545 West Dayton Street. Community presentation on "How to Stop Wasting Our Brightest Young Minds" and book signing. October 12, 8:00 a.m., Randy's Restaurant, Whitewater WI. Open administrator's breakfast and program on gifted education in Wisconsin. $10.00 per person; r.s.v.p. required.
