August 12, 2009Six States in National Governor's Association Center Pilot Project See Rise in Number of Students Taking and Succeeding on AP ExamsNGA [Complete Report 1.6MB PDF]: To maintain the competitiveness of America's workforce and ensure that U.S. students are prepared to succeed in college, states increasingly are recognizing the importance of offering a rigorous, common education curriculum that includes Advancement Placement (AP) courses.
