For the past quarter-century, the cost of higher education has grown 440%, according to the National Center for Public Policy and Education, nearly four times the rate of inflation and double the rate of health care cost increases. Funny no howling from the left on this. After all, is it not true that the better educated have better health care? Why does the left-controlled education establishment price itself out of reach for the average and thereby deny a majority a chance at a healthy life? What's worse is that women and minorities are hardest hit. Thanks, Reed, for your thoughtful and considered opinion on this serious matter. We are all much better for it, and you have moved this discussion along admirably. I wish my knowledge was half of yours.
