September 20, 2011Unvaccinated Students Denied School Attendance, CaliforniaMiddle school and high school students who have not received the required whooping cough vaccine are denied attendance at some California schools. This comes as a result of a law passed last year, after a spike in potentially fatal diseases swept through schools.
