Some of us see charter schools as the cure for failure of students to learn. It seems to me that we have been experimenting with charter schools in Milwaukee for years without realizing a cure. I feel its time to hold a National discussion on the correlation between poor parenting and failure of students to learn. Certainly there are parents that parents that are resposable but I feel too many are impaired, unable to parent, how can we help them to resposably parent? Enough spending money on more of the same, more merit pay programs that havent worked in the public or private sector etc. Posted by: william.p rowe at April 9, 2012 2:45 AMPost a comment
