Our underachievers in academics are found in all races. In my school district the same teachers at the same schools have 50% underachieving and 50% overachieving, its not the teachers that cause the underachievement. I feel that most of the underachievement and anti social behavior is directly related to impaired parenting. It does harm not good to dwell on the parents race,we have over achievers in all races. Parents are adults our teachers have no training in adult education. We should not hold public schools responsible for parental failure. We need to have our community leaders such as our Mayors,Business leaders, leaders of concerned organization such as 100 Black Men etc tell us how we should be addressing the needs of our impaired parents whose impairments seem to be caused by vrious addictions, mental and emotional problems, language difficulties, working two jobs etc, etc, We are failing as a Country to meet competition with other countries. It our problem to solve, blaming the schools, blaming immigrants, blaming, blaming.blaming, has got us nowhere but into hating each other and feeling arrogent because we feel self rightious.
