May 21, 2013Sweden is leading the world in allowing private companies to run public institutionsSAINT GORAN'S hospital is one of the glories of the Swedish welfare state. The doctors and nurses are Capio employees, answerable to a boss and a board. Doctors talk enthusiastically about "the Toyota model of production" and "harnessing innovation" to cut costs.Posted by Jim Zellmer at May 21, 2013 6:18 AM Subscribe to this site via RSS/Atom: Newsletter signup | Send us your ideas Comments
