Rubric for School Improvement
Dr. Victoria Bernhardt and staff have developed a set of rubrics for measuring where a school is in achieving and making improvements. The included Excel file articulates the school improvement rubrics for the following: Student Achievement, Quality Planning, Professional Development, School Leadership, Partnerships with Community and Parents, Continuous Improvement and Evaluation. The rubrics are similar to the Baldridge Quality Improvement processes for Education.
These rubrics do not directly relate to Districts but to individual schools. It does seem to offer, along with the National School Board Association guidelines, a consistent approach to school and District improvements in these areas.
