Internet Girl, the College Drop-Out Making a Living on Depop

McFadden started selling her clothing at the age of 17, after a less-than-ideal high-school experience that often left her feeling like an outcast. “I was a teen witch! I would spend my free time doing séances with my very tight-knit group of friends, or going to the local occult shop to buy charms and incense,” says McFadden, “I attended a very average public high school that I despised. I have always hated the school system and wanted out, because I felt judged, based on my look, by the faculty.” She started buying vintage clothing in high school, hosting her first photo shoot for a site in a graveyard behind her yard. McFadden then entered university to study communications, and subsequently left to take what was supposed to be a semester off. That semester turned into a year, thanks to the success of Depop
