MIT admissions post affirmative action
With the end of affirmative action, MIT’s new incoming class should better reflect merit.
Compared to when there was affirmative action, the latest incoming freshmen are:
- 62% less Black (13% -> 5%)
- 27% less Hispanic (15% -> 11%)
- 15% more Asian (41% -> 47%)
